This patient was keen to have her unsightly gap filled. This would improve aesthetics and function, giving her teeth to chew on in this area. Radiographs revealed that implants would not be possible. A complicated procedure called a sinus lift would be required.
The patient wanted to avoid this surgery. The teeth on either side of the gap were heavily restored. We decided to place crowns on them to strengthen them. Attached to these crowns were male precision attachments. These engage with the female components on the removable cobalt chrome denture.
